PRF

Natural Skin Rejuvenation With PRF at KALLOS

PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) is a regenerative treatment derived from your own blood. Rich in growth factors, PRF helps stimulate collagen production, improve skin quality, and support natural tissue repair. Common treatment areas include the under-eyes, face, neck, and areas affected by volume loss or skin laxity.

What Is Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF)?

Platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) is a next-generation regenerative treatment created from a small sample of your own blood. Unlike traditional platelet-rich plasma (PRP), PRF contains a fibrin matrix that allows growth factors to be released gradually over time, supporting longer-lasting rejuvenation.

Choose between traditional PRF for regenerative skin rejuvenation or PRF EZ Gel for added volume and structural support.

Benefits of PRF Treatment

Natural Skin Rejuvenation

PRF encourages your body to repair and regenerate skin naturally. Over time, the growth factors stimulate collagen production and improve elasticity, helping your skin appear firmer and healthier.

Improves Fine Lines and Wrinkles

PRF treatments can soften fine lines around the eyes, cheeks, mouth, and forehead while improving skin quality and hydration.

Under-Eye Rejuvenation

PRF injections are especially popular for the under-eye area because they can help improve dark circles, crepey skin, and hollowing without traditional filler.

Better Skin Texture and Tone

PRF supports smoother skin texture, smaller-looking pores, and a more refreshed appearance.

Supports Hair Growth

PRF may also be used to help support healthier hair growth by stimulating the scalp and encouraging circulation to the hair follicles.

Completely Natural Treatment

Because PRF is created using your own blood, patients appreciate that the treatment does not rely on synthetic fillers or additives.

PRF vs. PRP: What Is the Difference?

Many patients ask about the difference between PRF and platelet-rich plasma. While both treatments use healing components from your blood, PRF is considered a more advanced option because it is processed at a lower speed in the centrifuge. This preserves more growth factors, fibrin, and white blood cells.

PRF also releases healing properties more gradually than PRP, which may support longer-lasting collagen stimulation and tissue regeneration. Because of this, PRF injections are commonly used for under-eye rejuvenation, fine lines, hair growth support, and overall skin texture improvement.

What to Expect During Your Appointment

Your PRF treatment begins with a consultation where we evaluate your concerns, skin quality, and treatment goals. Once your treatment plan is created, we collect a small blood sample.

The blood is processed in a centrifuge to isolate the platelet-rich fibrin. Depending on your goals, the PRF may be applied topically with microneedling or administered through PRF injections.

Most appointments take approximately 60 minutes. Patients typically experience mild redness, swelling, or bruising for several days after treatment.

Because PRF works by stimulating your body’s natural healing response, results continue to improve gradually over the following weeks.

PRF Pre-Care Instructions

To prepare for your PRF treatment, it is important to stay hydrated and avoid anything that may increase bruising or inflammation.

Before your appointment:

  • Drink at least 64 ounces of water

Following your treatment, proper aftercare helps support healing and optimal results.
